Separate research, clinical trials and approved treatment
Regenerative medicine includes stem cells, biomaterials, tissue engineering, cell therapy and gene therapy. Many projects remain in basic research, preclinical work or clinical trials.
A research-stage therapy is not proven safe and effective and may not be appropriate for an individual patient.
Be cautious with unproven treatment claims
Some businesses promote services using terms such as stem cell therapy, anti-aging or regenerative repair without adequate evidence. Users should look for regulatory approval, trial registration, indication, risk disclosure and institutional credentials.
This is especially important in cross-border settings where marketing language can be difficult to verify.
Start with regulatory and academic sources
FDA, ClinicalTrials.gov, academic medical centers and peer-reviewed sources are better starting points for understanding cell and gene therapies.
InnoCare only organizes public information and resource entry points on this topic. It does not recommend unapproved or insufficiently supported therapies.
